Green River Development Controversy Continues
356 acres along the banks of the Green River in northern Utah are still the focus of anglers protesting the state’s possible plan to allow a Georgia development firm to build a private fishing lodge on the property. “Flint Timber’s proposal has drawn strong opposition from Trout Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and individual anglers and environmentalists. The stretch of river along which the lodge would be built is a favorite of anglers in search of rainbow and brown trout.” Lezlee E. Whiting and Dustin Gardiner on DeseretNews.com.
