- Juan Ramirez, of the Hopper Juan, reports that Ghillies Fly Shop in Colorado Springs has closed its doors.
- Within a year the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife has restored the trout fishery on South Twin Lake. The ODFW restocked the lake after a fish kill with 2,500 rainbow trout in the 2- to 10-pound range.
