Tenkara USA Nets

October 8, 2010 By: Alex Cerveniak

Tenkara USA nets feature organic, fully functional designs for fly fishing. Their nets are hand-made out of two branches to ensure consistency, and feature the look and function of traditional tenkara nets. The net frame is positioned at an angle from the handle, this allows the angler to put it on his wading belt without the wet net touching his back. The angler can also press the handle behind his knee, as he kneels down, while keeping the mesh bag and fish in the water as he removes the hook or takes a picture of his catch. The very fine hand-made mesh (2mm holes) cradles the fish to minimize harm.

The Tenkara USA nets cost $67.95, and can be purchased through their Web site.
