Fishing Streamers on Floating Line in Shallow Riffles & Edges
When out on a day you anticipate dry fly, dropper, or nymphing and those don’t produce, you can still add a little weight and a couple of streamers to a longer leader on floating line and have a chance of enticing an active, deeper holding trout. Sometimes high or cold water keeps trout a little deeper even though they’re still active and this will help give you a chance at those trout.
