Photographer Matt Jones

“I grew up in Dallas, Texas, and have been fishing since a small child. Bass fishing is what initially brought me to the sport, and then a quick move to Fort Collins, Colorado after high school is what started my obsession with fly fishing. Ever since I started fly fishing, my eagerness to take great photos grew, and now it seems to be all I think about. Whether I’m fishing or working in the fly shop (Tailwaters Fly Fishing Co), I am always taking photos of something fishy. I have spent my last three summers in Alaska as a fishing guide and have been employed by Tailwaters since 2008. I hope to travel the world in search of the best fly fishing and photography imaginable!”
