Photographer Ben Bolden

Ben Bolden: “I began fly fishing when I was ten years old, and it was not long after that I truly fell in love with the outdoors. By the time I was fifteen, I knew that I would spend the rest of my life fly fishing. In 2005, my brother and I spent three weeks fishing through the Western United States, starting an annual trip that has taken me through California, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, and Canada. In preparation for the second year of our trip, I bought a Nikon D50 in hopes of capturing some of the stunning places I planned to visit. The D50 was my first DSLR camera and even though I did not get the pictures I had imagined, it sparked a new passion in photography. Since then I have continued my pursuit to photograph new and beautiful places, and I hope that some day I can turn my passion of fly fishing and photography into a career.”
