“Common thought is that cutthroat trout streams are easy, right? Well, not so fast. There are many cutthroat trout streams that have low populations due to limited habitat through one of their life stages. In this video we look at one low population cutthroat trout stream and examine where trout will be located and why, and then go about locating them to enjoy dry fly fishing and some dropper nymph fishing. Cutthroat trout don’t inhabit the gentlest habitats so let’s have a look at where to locate them and why they’re holding where they do.”
