Far Bank Enterprise is seeking a visionary marketing expert to join our marketing team as the Sage Marketing Manager. As the leader of the Sage brand, you will oversee, strategize, develop, and implement all aspects of Sage’s marketing efforts.

The ideal candidate is an avid fly angler, passionately engaged with fly fishing, and has proven industry knowledge and experience. We’re seeking a strategic thinker with contagious enthusiasm. Must be able to work efficiently on multiple projects and deliver high quality marketing platforms while being simultaneously creative and organized.

POSITION: Sage Marketing Manager


Under the direction of the VP of Marketing, the Sage Marketing Manager oversees, strategizes, develops, and implements the Sage marketing plan and marketing efforts. This includes but is not limited to all promotions, product launches, dealer support, consumer engagement, advertising, PR, social media, website/interactive, sales collateral, etc. The overarching goal is to maintain and enhance Sage’s position as the most authentic, highest quality, and best customer service brand in fly fishing.

The ideal candidate will appreciate the legacy of Sage, earned through product innovation and commitment to the fly fishing community, and recognize the opportunity to attract new anglers to the Sage brand while continuing to take care of Sage loyalists. (S)he thrives in an organic organization, with a collaborative environment within the marketing team as well as with other key departments, especially Product Development and Sales. The ideal candidate has a solid background as a marketer and is passionate about specialty, technical product.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent education
  • 5-7 years of experience in developing, marketing and selling consumer goods, with preference to fly fishing and/or outdoor products
  • Fully proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Understanding and ability to work in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Avid, passionate angler
  • Affinity for the “what”, “how”, and “why” specialty, technical product is created
  • Prefer strong background and contacts in the fly fish and greater outdoor community
  • Knowledge of the fly fishing industry
