Bonefish: “Ghost Stories” Field Work Update

Important scientific studies on bonefish behavior and movement continue to be researched in the Grand Bahamas both Bonefish and Tarpon Trust (BTT), and the Fisheries Conservation Foundation (FCF). However, what has been missing is local knowledge. The research of PhD Candidate Tom Karrow aims to fill that void and focuses on the environmental knowledge of veteran guides and elders of the area, working with together to create fisheries habitat maps and archive local knowledge.
