Earlier this summer Shawn “Puffy” Combs, product designer at Orvis – showed MidCurrent and a few other journalists why using a fiberglass rod has its benefits, aside from the “slowed-down” action.  We tried to take one to the rod graveyard with a nefarious instrument made just for that purpose.
