Conservation in Guyana
In the wake of changed policies for protection of species such as the arapaima in the ecosystem of Guyana’s Rewa River, research biologist Dr. Lesley de Souza writes from her fieldwork station: “Conservation is occurring at the local level, but in order to continue to protect arapaima the message must expand to the regional and national level.” Via The New York Times.
