Tom Helgeson’s Expo and Magazine to Continue

The passing of Tom Helgeson November hasn’t dampened the enthusiasm of the audience for his well-run magazine and fly fishing events. Helgeson’s children have taken up the banner and are carrying on Tom’s work — both the Minneapolis fly fishing show and Midwest Fly Fishing magazine. The Great Waters Fly Fishing Expo will stay with a single show and not return to the Chicago area as it had for the past four years. The 2011 will be the 8th annual Great Waters Fly Fishing Expo in the Minneapolis area, running April 1, 2, 3 at the National Sports Center in Blaine.
