Podcast: Rosenbauer on Fly Fishing Pocket Water
In a new podcast Tom Rosenbauer offers several suggestions for improving your pocket-water fly fishing skills.
“The more rocks you have, the more fish you’re going to have in running water. And that’s because trout and smallmouth bass and other river-dwelling species are seldom limited by the amount of food in the water. They’re limited by the amount of places or microhabitats in that water that allow them to easily feed, runaway, hide from predators and to stay close to current, which brings them their food, but also gives them some respite from the current.”
