Trip Essay: Fly Fishing Utah's Lower Provo
“We stood on a cut bank looking at a big and green run on the Lower Provo River in Central Utah. Where the sun was able to penetrate the canyon walls, gray steam escaped from the river’s surface. It looked like smoke. Where the sun’s rays could not reach, the river was obscure and faceless.”
Fly fishing writer Will Rice and photographer Trevor Brown catch the canyon chill on the Lower Provo and find satisfaction in figuring out how to feed at least one big fish.
