Getting "Acclimatized" to Great Whites
Adam Coca was fishing from his 13-foot sit-on-top kayak off the coast of San Mateo last week when a great white shark knocked him into the water and proceeded to chew first on the bow of the yak and then on his paddle leash — after pushing him around in circles a few times. Coca’s response: “He plans to return to ocean fishing, even at Bean Hollow, as soon as he repairs his boat. ‘Oh yeah, you gotta get back on the horse, for sure.'” Allen Bushnel in the Santa Cruz Sentinel.
