Summer Trout: Beating the Heat
From now until September, many of the Northern Hemisphere’s small streams and lakes will see water temperatures rise well above a trout’s comfort zone. And as most of us are aware, trout caught and released in excessively warm water are vulnerable to stress caused by low oxygen levels.
