Columbia River System Anglers to Pay New License
As Mark Yuasa reports in The Seattle Times this morning, the new $8.75 license — required as of April 1 — will help cover a $30 million cutback in the Washington state Fish and Wildlife budget. “Funds from the fee will go toward selective fisheries in the Columbia system. They will also be used for fisheries enforcement, data collection and monitoring.”
