Florida Tarpon Anglers Enjoy Great Spring
From Key West to Gasparilla Island, every guide and angler I talk to has said that this season’s tarpon fishing has been some of the best they can remember, with an unusual number of fish showing and being eager to eat flies. In the Keys, it has been the numbers of fish that have been most impressive, while on the southwest coast of Florida, where baitfish patterns have been producing very well, some of the better guides are seeing their anglers jump 15 or 20 fish a day and sometimes more.
