Chasing the Hex

Chasing the hex hatch through northern Michigan waters, Alex Cerveniak and Jason Tucker are on a binge of late nights and eager trout, and of course they are both writing about the escapades. “For the fish it’s like Super Bowl, Fourth of July, and Thanksgiving all mashed into one,” Cerveniak writes on Chuck and Duck. “They just lose it.” And fly anglers do too. Tucker gives some history on the hatches of years of past, and what it takes to make it all happen. Read more on his blog, Fontinalis Rising.
