On the Question of Pain
Debate over the ethics of recreational fishing is long-running, and its practice and participants often called inhumane. But the research of University of Wisconsin professor of zoology and physiology Jim Rose recently published in the scientific journal Fish and Fisheries might help clear the conscience of anglers, with findings concluding that fish do not feel pain.
