IFTD Will Go to New Orleans in 2011

As we first reported from our show blog yesterday afternoon, AFFTA will move the International Fly Tackle Dealer’s show to New Orleans next year. Scheduled for the middle of August, the show will be part of an effort to shake things up at AFFTA, as well as show fly fishing’s support for Gulf coast guides and outfitters. “New Orleans gives us a fresh venue,” said incoming chairman Jim Klug, “but more importantly I think it will reflect a changed mindset.”
