How to Tie a Matt’s Gnat

Author and tier Matt Grobert came up with the techniques for this pattern in order to construct a more durable Griffith’s Gnat.  You can fish a Matt’s Gnat anytime you’d normally fish a Griffith’s: whenever midges or small Blue-Winged Olives are being eaten on the surface.
