“Time for another trip and this time I’m Fly Fishing the Driftless Region for Wild Brown Trout! This is definitely one of my favorite areas to visit. I’ve made it up here each of the last 5 years and fish a few of my favorite streams but also explore a few new ones.
Gear
Orvis Superfine Carbon 7.5ft 3wt, Battenkill II reel with Orvis Pro Textured fly line.
Leader: Orvis Super Strong Plus 9ft 3x with 1ft of 4x to a tippet ring. 4x off the tippet ring to the first fly. (or 5x depending on water) 5x to the second fly.
Various Flies but the ones shown at the end of the video were super productive.
sz 16 (czech nymph hook) BH PT and sz 16 (emerger hook) unweighted turkey biot cdc emerger (I’ll do a tying video for this one soon).”
