“This is nothing more than a concoction of a fly designed for back drifting at Farmoor (a concrete bowl). It is loosely based on the more popular woolly bugger fly. Not sure that back drifting is really fly fishing, but if you are injured or even getting on in years where casting all day has become a burden, this is a great method. If you still want to get your string pulled, it’s a an easy way of doing it.”
