Video Hatch: “Where the Yellowstone Goes”
“The Yellowstone River is the longest undammed river in the contiguous United States,” opens up “Where the Yellowstone Goes,” a project between fly-fishing guide and fourth generation Montanan Robert Hawkins and independent filmmaker Hunter Weeks. Starting in August 23, 2011 the cast, with a crew of five, set out to float from Yellowstone Lake to North Dakota where the river flows into the Missouri River. Along the 680-mile journey the crew bonded with the river and the characters surrounding it, in an effort to celebrate the iconic body of water. The film will premiere in Bozeman on May 19, 2012.
