Video: Costa Sunglass Sculptures Go to Good Causes
Two sculptures constructed with sunglasses and used in the company’s recent advertisements will be donated to two separate groups, Costa Del Mar announced yesterday. The tarpon sculpture will be given to the IFGA Fishing Hall of Fame & Museum and the blue marlin sculpture to The Billfish foundation.
Both made out of Costa’s 580 sunglasses, the blue marlin was made with the blue mirrored lenses and the tarpon with the silver. Along with the lenses, other parts used were hinges, frame arms, nose pads, side shields and retainer cord segments. Costa made this nifty video highlighting the construction of the sculptures.
