Monte Burke: NY’s “Big Fish” Toast BTU
“Lefty said the first time he saw Brokaw cast, ‘it was like watching a man in a cabbage patch with a hoe.’”
A dinner put on recently by Robert Rich, Jr., of Rich Products, hedge-funder Paul Tudor Jones II, Blackstone president Hamilton “Tony” James, former Secretary of the Treasury Robert Rubin, and Silver Lake Partners cofounder and managing director Glenn Hutchins was all about money—and what it could do for bonefish and tarpon conservation. Lefty Kreh, Bob Popovics, Andy Mill, and Tom Brokaw were also at the Manhattan event, which raised money for Bonefish & Tarpon Trust. Forbes‘s Monte Burke writes in entertaining detail about the event.
