500-Year-Old Fly Still Catches Fish

Producer: Mainely Flies

“This is a modern variation of the Partridge and Orange, a popular and successful fly pattern that has been around for over 500 years. This is one of my favorite variations that I often fish in the fall as an October caddis. Tying it behind a streamer and swinging it through the current is a great way to pick up a few extra fish with little to no effort, as the current drags it along the swing.”
