The lodge owner and head guide is Benry Smith, son of legendary bonefish guide Capt. Charlie Smith, who concocted the popular “Crazy Charlie” fly. Benry and his roster of seasoned guides have immediate access to some of the most prolific fishing areas in the region, including the famous Joulter Cays and Andros’ west side, where anglers can tangle with bonefish, permit, tarpon, barracuda, and other coveted shallow-water gamefish.
