“I guess growing up in Western Canada’s Waterton, Glacier and Jasper National Parks cast the die. Since then I’ve needed mountains on the horizon and wild places nearby. For many years, guiding steelhead anglers at remote places in coastal BC and western Kamchatka was the tonic for my river obsession. Now that I’ve hung up my guide’s hat, photographing the people, places and culture of fly fishing provides a rewarding water-fixation antidote. Little did I know that photography would be its own sweet addiction.”
