Artist Erwin P. Lewandowski

Professional artist Erwin P. Lewandowski maintains a studio/residence along the shore of Lake Huron in northern Michigan. He is a graduate of the Fine Arts Department at Central Michigan University and received additional training at Eastern Michigan University.

As an artist he’s managed to find a comfortable niche for his artistic skills in contemporary realism, hyperrealism [photo-realism], and the abstract in realism. He is recognized for his signature colored pencil, graphite, and pigment ink drawings of waterscapes and landscapes from across North America and beyond. All of his artwork is unique in style, meticulously rendered in detail, and visually appealing in form, content, and composition.

Today he is an award-winning national artist with representation throughout parts of the United States. He is a two-time Best in Drawing recipient from International Guild of Realism, has achieved Signature Status [CPSA and CPX] with the Colored Pencil Society of American, and Masters Status [MPAS] with the Pencil Art Society of Canada. His artwork and articles have been featured in numerous publications, on television, and on social media. Each year he takes time to host a series of workshops based on his colored pencil artwork.
