Accommodations consist of spacious and comfortable duplex-style cottages with outdoor patios overlooking the flats, ideal for families and small groups. The main lodge features a spacious dining area and a living room complete with large, flat-screen TV with cable to catch up on the latest news or watch sporting events.
Mount Pleasant’s roster of topnotch guides primarily fish the legendary North Bight nearby, which boasts an expansive network of tidal creeks and channels with miles and miles of productive flats, coves and shallow lagoons (many sheltered from the wind) inhabited by a large population of 2- to 5-pound bonefish and plenty of 6- to 8-pounders to spice things up. Trophy specimens of 10 pounds frequent the same shallows, and permit and tarpon are also available at times, as are other potential target species like barracuda, lemon sharks, various jacks and mutton snapper found throughout the year.
