North Carolina's Wily Stocked Fish

North Carolina is finishing its semi-annual stocking of the delayed-harvest streams in the western part of the state. Anglers have plenty of choices now, between stocked and wild fish streams. “‘The first few weeks, the stocked fish are not real picky. But they’re smart and they adapt. After a while, delayed-harvest trout can become more selective than a wild trout,’ [Foscoe Fishing Company owner Scott Farfone] said. ‘They’ve seen a lot of flies, and they’ve been caught.'” Gil Arnold in The News & Observer.
