30-Minute Fly Art: Strip Leech Fly

This week’s 30-Minute Fly Art features the Strip Leech Fly (in honor of Gary Borger’s birthday). As Gary’s son Jason says, “It’s a pattern that I tied a lot when I was growing up, and it caught me my first ever 6-plus-pound brown trout (from Wyoming’s Green River) when I was 10 years old. It has done the deed all over the world, and for a broad spectrum of fish.”
