$20/h + 20% commission new contract, 5% renewed

We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our advertising sales team and help us drive revenue by selling advertising space on our popular website.
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new advertising clients, as well as managing and growing existing accounts. You will work closely with our advertising team to develop and execute sales strategies that align with our company’s goals and objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with a passion for digital media to contribute to the growth and success of our advertising business.
- Generate new business opportunities by prospecting and reaching out to potential advertisers, including local and national businesses, agencies, and brands.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of advertising on our website.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
- Collaborate with the advertising team to develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue and meet sales targets
- Monitor and analyze advertising campaign performance, providing clients with regular reports and insights to optimize their return on investment
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and digital advertising best practices to effectively position our offerings in the marketplace
- Utilize CRM software to manage and track sales activities, including leads, opportunities, and closed deals
- Assisting the marketing team in the preparation of media kits and promotional plans
- Attend trade shows and media events to build and cement relationships
- Proven experience in inside sales, advertising sales, or a related field
- Strong understanding of digital advertising, including display ads, sponsored content, and programmatic advertising
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office/google suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
