California Developer Pleads Guilty to Poaching Steelhead

As we reported back in April of 2008 (see “‘Trophy’ Real Estate Developer Snagged Poaching Steelhead“), California real estate developer Luke Brugnara claimed “jealousy” was behind law enforcement charges that he illegally blocked a steelhead stream on his property. Now it appears that Brugnara will face at least five years in prison after admitting his guilt in a San Francisco courtroom.
