“Ultimate Off-Grid Wilderness Camping and Fly Fishing”

Producer: Drew LooknFishy

“In this video, we’re floating the wilderness section of the Buffalo National River. This is 29 miles of river with zero to limited access that provides the ultimate off-the-grid wilderness experience. We start the adventure at Rush and spend the next 4 days making our way to Shipps Ferry on the White River. In the beginning, we’re targeting smallmouth bass native to the Ozarks and later trout once we enter the White River. This was more of a float trip than fishing trip but we fond some great fish. We started each day after 9am and got off the river each afternoon around 5pm after slowly covering 6-8 miles. In the series, I’ll discuss camping gear and tactics used for targeting smallmouth bass on the fly. This is a 2 part series.”
