Tying The Spoon Minnow 2.0
Producer: Mossy Creek Fly Fishing
We have simplified the materials and process for building out the spoon minnow. Long gone is the need for acrylic nails that started this process decades ago. We have developed and have available the body parts to build this fly in a very simple process. You will need a hook, thread, lead wire, Loctite gel, 5-minute epoxy, paint or nail polish, eyes if you prefer, and a topcoat of Sally Hansen’s Hard as Nails, or 24 epoxy. Outside of the drying time for the glues and paint, this is a very simple fly that is super fun to fish.
