Mayfly Outdoors has announced that its dedicated Textreme platform is now live and accepting orders across the United States and Canada. The launch follows the company’s December 2025 announcement securing exclusive North American distribution rights for Textreme, and marks the first time the full catalog is available through a centralized online channel in this market.
According to Mayfly, the new platform gives both anglers and dealers direct access to Textreme’s complete lineup as the spring tying and fishing season ramps up.
Product Overview
The Textreme catalog includes tying threads, dubbings, chenilles, synthetic fibers, and specialty materials. According to the manufacturer, these products are produced through an in-house manufacturing process in Biella, Italy.
Mayfly positions the addition of Textreme alongside its existing tying brands, including Renzetti and Dyna-King. The company states that the combined offering is intended to provide a complete system of vises, tools, and materials for tiers at every level.
Materials and Manufacturing
Textreme was founded in 2005 as a branch of Filtex, a textile company established in 1965. According to the manufacturer, production takes place in Italy using internal processes, while dyeing is handled by certified partners that meet European environmental standards. Materials and packaging components are sourced from Italian and European suppliers.
Mayfly states that Textreme materials are widely used by professional tiers, commercial fly manufacturers, and hobbyists in international markets.
Availability
Textreme materials are available now through Mayfly Outdoors’ online platform. Anglers can purchase directly or visit authorized dealers as the network expands.
