Fly-fishing author and instructor George Daniel will join FlyFest 2026 as a Headline Presenter, Fly Fishers International announced.
From September 24–26, FlyFest will bring together fly anglers from all over North America for three days of education, conservation, and community. Set to take place at the Redding Civic Auditorium in Redding, California, FlyFest is hosted by Fly Fishers International and presented in partnership with The Fly Shop.
Attendees can expect casting and tactical instruction, demonstrations, and seminars. As the current director and lead instructor of the Joe Humphreys Fly Fishing Program at Penn State University, Daniel brings his experience as a two-time U.S. National Fly Fishing Champion, Fly Fishing Team USA member, mentor, and coach to Fly Fishers International’s signature event.
