ODFW Advances Plan to Harvest Steelhead

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) has advanced a plan to harvest wild steelhead from rivers in Southern Oregon for full approval by the Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission. 

If approved, ODFW would be ignoring over 90% of public comments on its draft Rogue – South Coast Multi-Species Conservation and Management Plan that supported catch-and-release regulations for wild steelhead.
