Florida Protects Spawning Permit

In a recent conservation win, Florida Fish and Wildlife moved to close an area in the Lower Keys to protect permit spawning. This four-month closure will protect permit when they’re at their most vulnerable, and help bolster the Lower Keys fishery as a whole.
