2016 AFFTA Board of Directors Election

The American Fly Fishing Trade Association has announced the election results for board of directors. Colby Trow, Jen Lavigne, Sam Lundgren, Brent Bauer, and Lise Lozelle will serve three-year terms beginning at the October 16, 2016 AFFTA board meeting.

Several New Faces to Join the AFFTA Board

BOZEMAN, Mont. – The American Fly Fishing Trade Association (AFFTA) Board of Directors Election results were announced today. The following were elected (or re-elected) to the board:

  • Colby Trow, Mossy Creek Fly Fishing, Harrisonburg, Virginia
  • Jen Lavigne, Waterworks-Lamson, Hailey, Idaho
  • Sam Lundgren, Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, Missoula, Montana
  • Brent Bauer, Umpqua, Louisville, CO
  • Lise Lozelle, Maven Fly, Austin, Texas

More than 35% of the voting eligible AFFTA membership cast a ballot, the highest participation in several years. The new board members will begin serving their three year terms at the October 16, 2016 AFFTA Board meeting.

AFFTA Chairman Tucker Ladd noted, “I want to personally congratulate the winners of this year’s AFFTA Board of Directors election. Being chosen by your peers to represent your segment of the fly fishing industry is a testament to each of you. With 35% of the voting-eligible AFFTA membership casting a ballot in this year’s election, it is clear that AFFTA continues to gain relevance and importance to the fly fishing industry as a whole. I also want to thank all of those that ran in this year’s election, your willingness to support your industry will certainly not go unnoticed.”
