Fifty Places TV Premiere

Author Chris Santella has amassed a list of premiere fly fishing destinations from across the globe in his book, Fifty Places to Fly Fish Before You Die (one of the most successful fly fishing books of the new millennium with over 120,000 hard cover copies sold), and his follow-up, Fifty More Places to Fly Fish Before You Die. Both highlight what makes each location so special and are underscored by a colorful cast of fly fishing luminaries who help to explain the allure of each of these extraordinary venues.  Hosted by Conway Bowman (ConwayBowman.com), recognized for his pioneering efforts to catch mako sharks on a fly rod along the coast of Southern California, Fifty Places to Fly Fish Before You Die not only travels to the locations but will often visit with the anglers who recommended the destinations featured in the book, providing both insider knowledge and a strong sense of the intangible appeal of each setting.
