  • British Columbia’s plan for new mines is raising concerns with neighboring Alaskans over threats to salmon and tourism industries. The Bureau of Indian Affairs  is calling on the U.S. State Department to use the 1909 Boundary Waters Treaty to discuss the impacts for important salmon waterways and neighboring communities.
