Quest for Golden Dorado

After years of dreaming Bob Shacochis makes it happen and heads for Argentina’s Iberá Marsh where, along with the golden dorado, he finds something much deeper than success on the end of a line. “Sometimes you can catch the big one but the result is pathos and tragedy,” writes Shacochis on Outside Online. “And you can lose the big one and yet it persists and remains, a triumphant vision, something to carry forward beyond the dream.”
