“Low & Clear”, the documentary that follows two steelhead fishermen, was recently picked up by SXSW Film Festival and True/False film festival and has been a huge hit, according to Michael Dunaway at Paste magazine.  Not only did Dunaway list it among the “Twenty Must-See Films” at SXSW, but he also crowned it the best film at True/False.

Dunaway, who was expecting a slow film with lots of beautiful scenery, observed that filmmakers Kahlil Hudson and Tyler Hughen were “determined not to settle for a tone poem, to tell a real story here.”  Dunaway goes on to write:  “And it’s mesmerizing.  The best documentary of the year so far.”
