North Carolina’s Neuse River Stripers

February 11, 2012 By: Marshall Cutchin

This week we travel to North Carolina’s Neuse River, one of those under-publicized places that offers suprisingly good fishing, in this case for striped bass.  As Gary Dubiel writes, “Striped bass average 15 to 30 inches in the New Bern area, and they are thick and feisty.”  It’s a great place to shake off those winter fly fishing blues.
