Nature Boy Designs, creators of the 550 Wader Lanyard, just added a unique service (at least for a commercial operation): made-to-order flies.

Say you have an idea for a fly, but don’t know how to tie it correctly or are going on a trip and know that the fish there key in on one very specific pattern. Suppose you don’t have the time to whip up three dozen of them…

Nature Boy Designs claims to have you covered.  You email them a photo or description of the pattern,  and they tie up an example and email you back for approval. No order is too small and they don’t have a minimum. Pictured to the left is a fly tied for a trip to Russia.
