It’s a Family Thing: Two Brothers’ Pursuit of Texas Tarpon

After moving to Texas from Colorado as a teenager, Marshall Tippen quickly forgot about casting for trout once he caught a tarpon on fly.  “It was actually easier to catch them off the jetties. We could see the fish rolling and we just cast in the vicinity and start stripping,” Marshall says.  Marshall and his younger brother Brendan have caught their fair share of impressive specimens, including a 40-pounder for Marshall this past summer.  Conor Harrison in the Lone-Star Outdoor News.
